Shimmering Blue Iridescent paint is used to create blue iridescence on Trout and Salmon. The shimmering colours of the Polytranspar Iridescent waterbase airbrush paint can generally be seen from only one angle and are nearly invisible when looking at them head-on. As the viewer or light source moves, the iridescent pigments reflect different colours, producing a nice shimmering effect. Only a very small amount of paint is needed for the effect. Almost all fish exhibit some combination of iridescent colours.
